Detailed Project Report: - Study in detail the recommended factory site and determine its suitability for setting up the project - Survey and present the observations regarding suitability of the command area for the proposed capacity and future expansion - Survey the command area of the proposed site to assess the suitability of weather, irrigation facilities, crop condition, problems faced of sugar cane variety - Cropping patterns, cane varieties, harvesting methods and transportation of cane. - Agronomic practices of fertilizing, seed control, disease control etc - Cropping patterns, cane varieties, harvesting methods and transportation of cane - Assess the procedure of implementing the existing effluent disposal and other pollution control norms and regulations - Recommendations about the appropriate plant capacity with justification to:  Description of plant.  Processing methods adopted with flow diagrams.  Specifications of equipment.  Performance targets. - Proposed Factory, Co-generation plant layouts and process flow diagram, Evaporator vapour bleeding arrangement, Pressure stabilization system, and Single line diagram for proposed co-generation - Project implementation schedule and organization structure needed for project implementation. - Manpower training & Manpower organisation structure - Suggestion on technology of firefighting system, effluent treatment plant, plant water system - Civil infrastructure and Buildings - Financial cost of the project Detailed Engineering, Project management, inspection & site services covers: - Preparation of detailed project designs. - Detailed engineering scope includes all mechanical, electrical, civil, instrumentation works required for the project. - Project preparation and planning. - Preparation of equipment lists, specifications and tender documents for procurement. - Assisting the client for finalization of contractor. - Evaluation of tender bids & making recommendations on contract awards - Scheduling and coordinating project implementation work. - Submit periodic progress report on the project and advise client on corrective measures necessary in the event of delays in implementation of the project. - Construction supervision & inspection of construction. - Commissioning and performance tests. - Pre-commissioning trials. - Transfer of technology to the local staff and training of staff.

Preparation of expansion report from 125 tch to 175 tch with optimization of factory operations with Co-generation. The findings after the study envisaged 18 MW total power - Technical survey of the existing plant and machinery to identify the needs for expansion - Sizing the plant for factory expansion along with cogeneration plant. - Identifying bottleneck areas and possible up-gradations of the areas and recommending remedial measures - Studying the steam and energy systems & suggest system designs to incorporate the possible measures of steam economy and improved efficiency. - Optimize the factory energy needs for production of maximum exportable power - Estimates of consumable stores for startup & annual operation & maintenance. - Assessing the space availability for the additional machinery to be added for the expanded capacity - Material, steam, power, condensate balances calculation, etc - Identification and suggestion of equipment with technical specifications to be added for the expanded capacity of the plant - Estimation of cost of sugar production, steam, power and water with break-up of variable and fixed costs. - Suggestion on technology updating of firefighting system, effluent treatment plant, plant water system. - Proposed Factory, Co-generation plant layouts and process flow diagram, Evaporator vapour bleeding arrangement, Pressure stabilization system, and Single line diagram for proposed co-generation - Furnish budgetary cost estimates for plant and machinery.

DPR for expansion - Feasibility study and preparation of project proposal for expansion to 4500 TCD sugar factory - Proposal included four parts :  Factory: location, layout & specifications.  Finance and economic appraisal.  Management infrastructure & extension services.
